Roles of the Various Organs

The Council is responsible for the scientific program of UAPS as a whole. It consists of the Bureau and five regional representatives with at least one Council member from each region. These Council members are elected by the General Assembly and they serve in that capacity for four(4) years.

Regional Representatives are to alert the Council to regional concerns and serve as a liaison with those regions. It is hoped that the regional representatives will have a positive role in encouraging membership and member participation in UAPS activities from those regions.
